Product Description

Custom print waterslide decal sheets are full-color water-transfer decals supplied on either a clear transparent base or an opaque white base, letting you choose the right sheet for the surface color of your product. Both options are printed in-house with CMYK plus white ink, so brand colors, photographic artwork and fine text stay sharp on light, dark, colored or transparent surfaces.

What Are Waterslide Decal Sheets?

Waterslide decal sheets are printed transfer sheets on ultra-thin carrier film. You cut out the design, soak it briefly in water, slide the film off the backing paper and position it on the product. Once dry and clear-coated, the carrier virtually disappears and the artwork looks painted or printed directly onto the surface. Sheets are the most economical format for multi-design artwork, mixed logos and full-color photographic images.

Clear Base vs White Base

The base you choose is the single biggest factor in how the finished decal looks. Printed inks are semi-transparent, so the base decides whether surrounding color shows through or is blocked out.

Print Quality and Finishing

Sheets are printed on premium waterslide film with CMYK plus white ink, optionally with protective varnish. Registration is tight enough for micro text, barcodes and fine line work, and Pantone matching is available for brand-critical colors. Finishes include gloss for a high-shine look, matte for a subtle printed appearance, and specialty effects on request.

Should I choose clear base or white base decal sheets?

Choose clear base when the surface is white or light and you only want the artwork to show. Choose white base on dark, colored or transparent products, because printed inks are semi-transparent and need an opaque white layer underneath to stay vivid and true.

Can one sheet combine clear and white areas?

Yes. Spot white printing lets us apply the white underlay only behind selected elements, so a single sheet can contain decals that disappear on light surfaces and decals that stay bright on dark products.

What is the minimum order quantity for decal sheets?

MOQs are flexible because digital printing makes short pilot runs economical. Small trial quantities are welcome for testing a new product line, and offset printing gives the best unit price for large repeat orders.

What artwork files do you accept?

Vector files in AI, EPS or PDF with fonts outlined are ideal, and Pantone references should be supplied where color matching matters. High-resolution raster artwork at 300 DPI or more at final print size also works, and our prepress team reviews every file free of charge.

How are the decals applied and protected?

Cut out the decal, soak it in water for about 20-30 seconds, slide the film onto a clean surface and position it. Once fully dry, clear-coat over it with lacquer or enamel so the film edge disappears and the decal becomes a durable part of the product.
