What Are Henna-Style Temporary Tattoos?

Henna-style temporary tattoos (also called mehndi tattoos or mandala tattoos) are water-transfer decals printed with intricate patterns inspired by traditional South Asian mehndi art and bohemian mandala design. Unlike real henna paste, which must sit on the skin for several hours and leaves a brown stain for weeks, these temporary tattoos apply in seconds with water and wear for 3-5 days. They are a convenient, mess-free alternative for special occasions.

Application Steps

1. Peel the clear protective film from the design.
2. Press the tattoo face-down onto clean, dry skin.
3. Wet the backing paper thoroughly with a damp cloth for 30 seconds.
4. Slide away the paper and let the tattoo dry completely.

Large hand and arm designs should be applied section by section, pressing firmly to avoid air bubbles. The tattoo is water resistant once dry.

Safety Note on Black Henna

Unlike some "black henna" products that contain PPD (paraphenylenediamine) and can cause allergic reactions, our printed temporary tattoos use non-toxic cosmetic-grade inks conforming to FDA and EU regulations. They do not stain the skin permanently and remove easily with baby oil or rubbing alcohol.
