What Are Promotional Temporary Tattoos?

Promotional temporary tattoos (also called event tattoos or brand tattoos) are custom-printed water-transfer decals designed for short-term skin wear. They carry your logo, mascot, hashtag or event artwork and are handed out at trade shows, sports events, music festivals, product launches, weddings and brand activations. Unlike stickers, they conform to skin, move with the body and stay visible through sweat and light water exposure.

How Temporary Tattoos Are Applied

1. Peel - remove the clear protective film from the printed side.
2. Position - press the tattoo face-down onto clean, dry skin.
3. Wet - dampen the paper backing with a wet cloth or sponge for 20-30 seconds.
4. Slide off - gently peel the paper away and let the tattoo air dry.

A correctly applied temporary tattoo lasts 3-5 days, fading gradually as the top layer of skin naturally exfoliates.

Artwork

Vector AI, EPS or PDF gives the cleanest edges for logos and text. High-resolution PNG or JPG at 300 DPI is accepted for photographic artwork. Our designers can redraw low-resolution logos at no extra cost for volume orders.

Colour

Full-colour CMYK plus optional white under-base for designs that need to pop on all skin tones. Spot colours including Pantone matching are available for brand-critical logos.

Size and shape

Any custom shape from 2 cm text tattoos to full-sleeve sheets. Die cutting follows your artwork outline, or square and rectangle sheets for multi-design layouts.

Finishes

Standard matte, glossy, or metallic gold and silver. Glow-in-the-dark and UV-reactive inks are available for night events.

Safety and Compliance

All inks and adhesives are non-toxic and skin-safe, conforming to EU cosmetic regulations (EN71-3, EC 1223/2009) and US FDA cosmetic requirements. Tattoos are not recommended for use on sensitive skin, near the eyes, or on children under 3. Removal is easy with baby oil, rubbing alcohol or household tape.
